Team Hancock with Eddie SuttonThe loss of two Oklahoma State basketball players, six athletics department staffers and broadcasters associated with the program represents one of the worst small plane accidents in American aviation history. And, certainly, it is one of the most tragic losses of student athletes and athletics support staff in NCAA history.

Bill Teegins, a sports broadcaster with the CBS-affiliate in Oklahoma City, KWTV-9, was one of the men killed in the crash. As the "voice" of OSU Men's Basketball and other OSU sports – as well as being a highly-respected journalist nationwide – Bill's death was widely reported. KWTV-9 has continued to honor Bill and the rest of the ten with remembrances and updated coverage of the crash on the anniversary date and to promote the "Remember the Ten" Run.
